WOMEN?S AID DUNDALK ARE NOW RECRUITING FOR A PLAY THERAPIST
8 Hours per week
Saturday?s Preferable
REQUIREMENTS:
* Qualification and Accreditation by Academy of Play & Child
Psychotherapy or relevant academic qualification such as IAPPC or APAC
* Play Therapists will carry out therapeutic Interventions through
Play with Children aged between 4 and **Apply on the website** years
* Play Therapists will help children to make sense of difficult life
experiences or complex psychological issues through play
* Knowledge of Domestic Violence and the impact on Children is
desirable
* Intake and Assessment of all clients allocated to the therapist in
conjunction with the Children & Youth Services Coordinator
* Record Keeping
* Adhering to all policies and procedures of Women?s Aid Dundalk
* Working as part of a robust Child Support Services Team focused on
the delivery and support of Children & Young people impacted by
Domestic Violence
